Last December I spent a few days down near Ottawa on a farm. My friend Jesse owns a share in a farmhouse.

Some things we did:
- Walked on frozen lake.
- Took photos of trees and snow.
- Ate some pancakes with too much baking soda.
- Played backgammon.
- Stoked the fire.
- Hauled firewood.
- Hauled more firewood.
- Lit fires in various stoves.
- Lit candles.
- Ate dinner over dim candle light.
